CLEWS – Climate, Land-use, Energy, and Water Systems Climate, land-use, energy and water systems (CLEWs) models are tools for the simultaneous consideration of food, energy and water security. The models are designed to assess how production and use of these resources may contribute to climate change, and how climate change may affect the availability and demand of these resource systems. By comparing different technologies and value chains, the models can identify pressure points and indicate synergies and trade-offs to reach development goals. CLEWs is a powerful tool to analyse the interlinkages and trade-offs in policy decisions on issues such as investing in clean energy, competing water uses and agricultural modernization, emission reductions and NDC targets. Analyze our resource interlinkages and work towards sustainable CLEW system
